Josef Kral starting 2nd on the grid followed Schlegelmilch into the first corner, and after executing a well deserved overtaking manoeuvre led the race before the end of the first lap.

Again the hard competitive racing drew another safety-car on lap 9, much to Team JVA’s disappointment as Kral was looking comfortable at the front of the field. At the restart van der Drift managed to get into Kral's slip stream and overtake him into the first corner, forcing him into 2nd place.

The restart also led to the retirement of Graves Team JVA's other driver, who unfortunately was involved in a collision that saw him loose his front wing.

From lap 9-16 the race was uneventful for Team JVA and Kral was posting consistent competitive lap times. Leimer then caught and pasted Kral, forcing Kral into 3rd place. The final laps consisted of Leimer and Kral fighting to decide the final order of the podium while van der Drift extended his lead. At the chequered flag Leimer confirmed his position of 2nd in the championship, with Kral finishing the race 3rd.

Another competitive reliable race for Team JVA.

Josef Kral - "I knew Chris (van der Drift) was a bit quicker than me during the race but I was concentrating on what I was going to do in the next lap. When he overtook me after the safety car I wanted to stay with him but he got away"
