Team JVA round up the 2008 Formula Master season with 3 podiums

At Oshersleben, Germany, Josef Kral finished the Formula Master Feature Race on the top of the podium, 1st. After a very mature drive - Kral gave Team JVA a flag-to-flag victory. The win came at the right time and gave the team the moral boost they needed to finish the season strongly.

The penultimate race of the year at Imola, Italy saw Josef Kral record another podium finish. Starting on pole position Kral succumbed to Earl Bamber on the 2nd lap and then drove a very competitive race. Leimer was the only driver to challenge Kral towards the end of the race; and following some defensive driving that showed Kral's maturity beyond his years he kept him behind to claim 2nd place - much to the delight of the team and Josef:

'I was pushing all the time; the car was very fast in the middle part of the race but Fabio (Leimer) was really quick!' (Kral)

'In any case, it was my first time on this track, it's a very hard track and the team did very well to get this result' (Kral)

The final race of the Formula Master season at Monza, Italy. Kral finished on the podium again and the reliability and competiveness of the car was shown again! Kral drove very well taking the lead before the end of the first lap, but a few safety-car periods forced the field to close up and allowed the eventual champion Chris van der Drift to slip-stream Kral into the first corner and take the lead. Leimer also passed Kral towards the end of the race, a repeat of the Imola finale - with a different result. Kral finished the race 3rd only to the Champion and Runner-up of Formula Master 2008.
